Interview with Amir Kerimov, Spartacus 2000 Goalkeeper

WM:Hello Amir. First of all I would like to congratulate you with the outstanding performance during the last Semifinal game against
Woodbridge at the Hangar. You saved 50% of the total of penalty kicks. Great result!
What did you feel during the game, on penalty kicks?

Amir: I FELT EXCITED AND INTERESTED. PENALTY KICKS ARE ONE OF MY MOST FAVOURITE PARTS OF THE GAME.

WM: Why have you chosen to play soccer ?

Amir: YOU CAN TRY DIFFERENT POSITIONS. IN MY LIFE I THINK IS A REALLY ACTIVE AND EXCITING SPORT.

WM:Have your family or dad made an impact on your decision?

Amir: MY WHOLE FAMILY LIKES SOCCER AS A SPORT. MY DAD AND  I, AND MY SISTER OFTEN PLAY SOCCER OUTSIDE. THAT IS WHY I PICKED SOCCER .

WM: Have you tried the other active sports? Which one?

Amir: I ALWAYS PLAY HOCKEY AT HOME, BUT I DO NOT LIKE HOCKEY BETTER THAN SOCCER. I ALSO PLAY BASKETBALL A LOT.

WM: What was the drive of becoming a goalie of Spartacus 2000 soccer team?

Amir: I BELIEVE THAT I AM A VERY GOOD  KEEPER AND I THINK I COULD HELP MY TEAM, BECAUSE I HAVE GOOD STRENGTH TO CATCH BALL AND I HAVE A FAST REACTION.

WM: Do you always want to play as a goalie?

Amir: I DO NOT ALWAYS WANT TO PLAY AS A GOALIE,  I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO PLAY AS A PLAYER.

WM:Game after game you become more confident in the goalie's crest, improving your skills and focus.
What does help you while you are on the field? What does distract you?

Amir: I COULD SEE THE FIELD VERY WELL AND I COULD SEE THE BALL. SOMETIMES I CAN  NOT SEE THE BALL VERY CLEARLY, AND SOME TIMES PLAYERS ARE BLOCKING MY VIEW.

WM: What is your favorite moments of the practice?

Amir: MY FAVOURITE PARTS IS WHEN WE PASS, CONTROL THE BALL, THE GAME, AND WHEN I AM GOALKEEPER.

WM: What is your favourite soccer player?

Amir: MY FAVOURITE SOCCER PLAYER IS CHRISTIANO RONALDO AND GERRARD.
